I bought this product approx. 2yrs ago and since then I have come to realize that it was worth the money. It is quite good for average use and unless u play heavy games it doesnt give much of a problem.
The development for this phone is excellent on android forums as it hasnt been updated to kitkat as of may 31, 2014.
Other than that if u want to buy this device now, I would suggest some moto devices instead.

Can give the International Bands a run for their money!

Well first of all the looks are better, the plastics might edge on the side of cheap, but it is textured to look anything but. Coming to the specs, 1 GHz dual core is not the epitome the speed and performance but it works without any lag or glitches. Even the Asphalt 8, when played with high graphics didn't give any troubles, Switiching between apps is also fast and gave no trouble. While the Screen is not a HD one, it has no trouble playing 720p and sometimes even 1080p (slightly distorted, but fair). The browser might not be a Flash enabled but the third-party installations will work here (how many of us use the stock browser??). The Navigation: while it lacks the compass and magnetometer, the navigation via Google maps it proved flawless, the accuracy is better when compared to the other phones, the apps like Runkeeper can be used without any trouble. The multi-touch and pinch to zoom are fine and with the big screen and the third-party home screen apps, the gestures are also available and are working great.
